Born Anne Frances Robbins, she adopted her childhood nickname, Nancy and Davis as the last name given by her stepfather, who adopted her at the age of 16. Nancy Davis appeared in eleven movies in a short career that spanned over eight years. An influential lady, she played an important role in her husband’s campaigns when Ronald Reagan became the Governor of California in 1967 and later as the President of the United States in 1981.
