Sydney Chaplin was the elder half-brother of Charlie Chaplin. In the movie ‘A Dog’s Life’ (1918), he and Charlie Chaplin appeared together for the first time. While Charlie Chaplin plays the role of the tramp, Syd Chaplin plays the role of a lunch-wagon owner.
