Towards the end of the movie Jerry Maguire, while Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr) is being interviewed on TV, Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) is congratulated by a lady. She is Katarina Witt, winner of two Winter Olympic gold medals. Next to her is Leigh Steinberg, who was the inspiration for the character of Jerry Maguire character. The other athlete is Troy Aikman, a former quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL.
