Barsaat (Rainfall) was a 1949 Hindi movie starring the legendary pairing of Raj Kapoor and Nargis. Barsaat was Raj Kapoor’s second movie as a producer under the banner of RK films (Raj Kapoor Films). The movie poster created resembles the 1939 Hollywood classic ‘Gone With the Wind’. The poster of Barsaat is taken from a scene in the movie and it went on to inspire the logo of RK Films. The 2015 movie Bombay Velvet has paid tribute to the Barsaat by enacting the iconic scene from the 1949 movie.
