Operation Babylift was a name given to a large evacuation of children from South Vietnam at the end of Vietnam War to countries such as United States, Australia, Canada and France. This mass evacuation took place in April 1975 and according to sources, close to 3300 infants and children were airlifted who were mostly adopted by families around the world.
