Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company (3M) is a multinational conglomerate founded in 1902 in Two Harbors, Minnesota by a group of five businessmen. The business initially focussed in mining, then moved on to create exclusive innovative industrial products. Today, they produce more than 50,000 products in various industries. In 2002, the company’s name was officially changed to 3M Company.
