A 6 foot bronze statue of Elizabeth Montgomery who was known for her portrayal of Samantha Stephens in the 1960’s sitcom Bewitched was unveiled in 2005 in Salem, Massachusetts. It depicts her riding sidesaddle on her broomstick. Few of episodes from the 1970 season was shot at Salem after a fire shut down its Hollywood studio. This landmark which can be found at the end of Essex Street Pedestrian Mall was sponsored by the cable channel TV land.
