FACT FOOD #480

Seventy seven years ago, the ZERO Halliburton became known to the world for their aluminum travel cases. The original design was made for Erle P. Halliburton, who was travelling around the world and often found his luggage incapable of withstanding harsh conditions of dirt, heat and dust. In 1968, Halliburton Case Company joined hands with Zero Corporation to be known as Zero Halliburton and in 2006, the brand was purchased by a Japanese luggage manufacturer ACE. Zero Halliburton also provided modified aluminum cases to NASA for the Apollo 11 mission.
