In the universe of DC Comics, Caroline Ferris (also Carol Ferris) is a fictional character and was created to play the love interest of Green Lantern/Hal Jordan. Eventually, she was turned into a super-heroine Star Sapphire. Actress Elizabeth Taylor was the visual inspiration for the original illustrations of Carol Ferris (created in 1959).
