Arnold Bennett, one of England’s famous writers of 20th century also happens to be in a selected group of celebrities after whom a dish is named. In oat the Savoy Hotel in London, the chefs perfected an omelette incorporating smoked haddock, Parmesan cheese and cream, which appealed the author so much he insisted on the omelette being prepared wherever he travelled.
