Chanderi is an historical Indian town in the state of Madhya Pradesh. One of the most famous creations (from 2nd century AD) from this town is the saris which bears the town’s name. Known for its soft colours and hand woven zari embellishments, the Chanderi saris are available only in silk and cotton and continues to be one of the popular saris of India.
