Everyone loves popcorn be in a carnival or during the movies or at times just as a snack. The commercialisation of popcorn machines can be traced to the late 19th century to a gentleman named Charles Cretors from Chicago, Illinois. He had the first patent for steam powered machine which he introduced at the 1893 Columbian exposition. With time, steam powered machines paved way to electric machines which became an instant hit coinciding with the introduction of movie theaters in 1910’s.
