Monisha Rajesh’s travel book ‘Around India in 80 trains’ talks about her adventures of reconnecting with the Indian roots and her travel across India in trains and the encounters she had with Indian people from different backgrounds. She works as a train columnist at The Sunday Telegraph. She is currently on working on ‘Around the World in 80 trains’ and ‘Around the World in 80 Hotels’. The title for her adventures are inspired by Jules Verne’s ‘Around the world in 80 days’.
