The Moroccan wine history goes back to 2000 years ago when the Romans first began making up. And when Islam rule was established in the 7th century A.D, the vineyards were not maintained. Under the French rule, the Moroccan vineyards got a new lease of life and in the 1950’s was passed into state control. The French beverage company Castel is responsible for the production of wine since the 1990’s.
