Yevgeny Kafelnikov became only the second male player in the Open Era to win the French Open singles and doubles title in the same year. He achieved this fame at the 1996 French Open. Ken Rosewall achieved this feat in 1968. In fact, Kafelnikov also happens to be the last man to have won both the Men’s Singles and Doubles titles at the same Grand Slam tournament.
