Lewis Carroll in his 1876 poem ‘The Hunting of the Snark’ created a fictional animal creature called ‘Snark’. This word is nothing but a nonsensical word which Lewis Carroll went on record more than once stating he didn’t know the meaning of ‘Snark’. However, he has acknowledged that – one interpretation of the poem to be an allegory for the search of happiness.
