Hamdard Laboratories was founded in 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed in Delhi. It started out as an Unani and Ayurvedic pharmaceutical company and became a non-profitable trust in 1948. What started out as a simple herbal shop, these small shops turned into production house in the 1920’s. Some of the famous products of this company are – Sharbat RoohAfza, Safi, Joshina, Cinkara, Shirin and Sualin. More than 100 years old, the company still operates with three factories in the Delhi NCR and have a portfolio of more than 600 natural herb based products.
