Kronborg is one of the Renaissance castles in Northern Europe and is situated in the town of Helsingor, Denmark. This castle was built in 15th century by King Eric of Pomerania. It has been added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2000. However, this castle is more popular ever since William Shakespeare immortalised this as ‘Elsinore’ in his play ‘Hamlet’.
