Herbert Cecil Booth, an English engineer spent a lot of time working on amusement parks.  One of his earliest creations was his 1901 invention, a contraption which had a 5 HP electric motor. He demonstrated his invention in the Westminster Abbey. He tweaked his idea and upon improvisation, he achieved great going from home to home with three to four contraptions mounted on carts, which came to known as ‘Vaccum Cleaner’.
