Hotmail, one of the early online e-mail communication tool was founded by Sabeer Bhatia and later sold to Microsoft. After many hours of brainstorming in finding a name ending in ‘mail’, he eventually settled for Hotmail as it included the letters H, T, M and L because it was a HTML based online e-mail system.
