The name Pan originates from the Ancient Greek term ‘paein’ (to pasture) and is the name of the Greek God of the wild, shepherds, nature, hunting, mountain wilds, goats, flocks, rustic music and a companion of the nymphs. One of Pan’s favourite diversions was to torment the Greek travellers who travesered through the forested land.
